Dinner with Joanna

During the opening week of Bistro Mercedes, Joanna my friend-fictionist and I went out to try the place. We didn’t like the food much. Did I tell you that the oil used in my pasta dish would not taste like an Olive oil but something like a corn oil?

I am amazed by how conclusive you can get by correcting a thing or two. I wonder how much insecurities you have with your life. Your harsh words and casual remarks seem to reflect your background. I need not further elaborate on this.
But over and above this, I am thankful for your dropping by.
I must admit that while I have studied English for many years, the grammar aspect seem elusive and I never really mastered it yet. I shall say that I have problems on Preposition.
Thank you for the correction. I shall note of it.
Curiosly though, you had a problem understanding the Style.I think that should be attributed to the fact that you do not know what Olive oil and Corn Oil are. Plus the fact that you really seem to have not eaten any dish that is Italian. Or have gone to posh places.
Your non understanding of this: Did I tell you that the oil used in my pasta dish would not taste like an Olive oil but more of a corn oil? cannot be attributed to it being ungrammatical instead on your inability to understand.
But I thank you for spending time checking out my blog. Keep your comments coming. I love to hear from you
PS: Did you ask which university I came from? If you have good research skills, the blogs informs you that and my entries should betray my background. What do you think?
:)
You made me smile
